A huge congratulations to our Choir, Concert Band, and Jazz Band students who participated in the Con Brio Whistler Music Festival this past weekend. All groups were awarded Gold at the festival – a first in St. Andrew’s history!! Other highlights included Amy L. being chosen to sing a solo out of 130 other students from 6 different schools in the massed choir performance and our band students getting to play in a massed band with over 300 young people – a truly awesome sound! Our students were excellent ambassadors for our school and everywhere they went, people commented on their courteousness, hard work, and dedication. Music students, you rock!! A HUGE thank you to our Music Director, Mr. Philip O’Reilly for keeping the Music Department up and running despite the many challenges faced during the past 2 years.
